UPDATE: Man Acquitted of Alleged Party Rape
A 24-year-old man is in county jail on 10 percent of $350,000 bail after being charged in a Falls Township rape that happened earlier this month.
Timothy Dress of Middletown Township’s Levittown section was arraigned before District Judge Jan Vislosky Friday afternoon on two counts of rape and aggravated indecent assault and related offenses.

According to police, a 25-year-old woman was at a small party hosted by her sister’s boyfriend at the Village of Pennbrook apartment complex on Millcreek Road on Saturday, March 1. Around 6 a.m. the woman went into a bedroom in the apartment and fell asleep. She then realized that there was someone else in the bed.
The next thing the woman recalled, according to police, was Dress raping her from behind. She reportedly told him no and asked him to get off of her but he did not. The woman called out for her sister but Dress is alleged to have pushed her face into a pillow.
Dress also placed a pillow between the headboard of the bed and the wall to stop it from making noise during the allege rape, police said.

Despite the woman telling Dress to stop, she told police he told her, “you know you like it,” according to court papers.
The woman told her sister what happened after she was alone with her later in the morning. Police were then called, court papers say.

An examination by a nurse showed thigh bruising, vaginal abrasions and a torn fingernail, which happened as she tried to get away, according to police.
