Man Accused of Spray Painting Building & Store Manager

Falls Township police plan to charge Marc Friedhofer, 37, of Fairless Hills, after a bizarre incident Monday.

The assistant manager of the Pep Boys on Lincoln Highway confronted Friedhofer after he was spotted spray painting the side of the business’ building around 5 p.m., police said.

After being asked to stop vandalizing the building, Friedhofer confronted the manager and spray painted the front of his shirt, police said. The suspect is reported to have then fled the scene on foot.

Officers caught Friedhofer after they followed a set of footprints in the snow behind Sleepy’s and towards Burns Auto Center, police said.

Friedhofer was arrested by Falls police for resisting arrest and trespassing earlier this year. That case is still making its way through the courts.

Police are expected to charge Friedhofer with criminal mischief, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and harassment in connection with Monday’s incident.
