The two men are accused of selling bundles of heroin to a police informant on four separate occasions earlier this month, according to court papers.

Been is said by authorities to have sold the informant heroin for $40 a bundle on two dates. Later in February, Heffner is accused of selling the informant two bundles for $45 each.

The informant made drug buys from the suspects as detectives watched from a distance, court papers say. Some of the drug buys took place at a residence on Adler Drive in the Morrisville section of town and another took place at a nearby convenience store in Falls, police said.

Police took down Heffner during a sting operation late last week outside the convenience store. According to court papers, officers found 2 hypodermic needles, paper bags with suspected drug residue, 4 paper bags with suspected heroin and a glass smoking device on him. They say one of the needles was “loaded” with heroin and the other has drug residue.

Both men were arraigned at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and each sent to Bucks County jail on 10 percent of $300,000 bail.
