Lt. Hank Ward said officers were dispatched to the apartments in the 9000 block of New Falls Road around 8:15 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered the victims.

Medics took the two woman to Capital Health’s Hellene Fuild Hospital in Trenton and the man was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.

Police with flashlights were spotted at the apartment complex and others were seen going in and out of one of the apartment buildings. Neighbors watched  from their balconies to see what police were doing.

A older woman accompanying another woman walking a dog carried a baseball bat. The clearly shaken woman said she carried the bat because of the stabbing that transpired earlier.

Scanner reports indicated suspect was one of the three who sustained stab wounds. However, police could not confirm that.

Falls police established the crime scene and were holding it as detectives were called. Ward said township officers were already swamped with calls related to a possible burglary and lingering power outages.

Police are expected to release more information Saturday.
