3 Hurt in Serious Crash on New Falls Road

Three people were hurt in a nasty wreck on New Falls Road in Falls Township Thursday night.

Police, fire and EMS crews responded to New Falls Road in front of St. Joseph the Worker around 6:15 p.m. for a crash that involved two vehicles.

Falls Township Fire Company Chief Mike McClellan said three people from the involved vehicles were treated by medics and firefighters. Sources told LevittownNow.com that one of the crash victims was airlifted to a hospital in Philadelphia following the crash. As of Friday morning, the victims’ conditions were not available.

The crash involved two vehicles that struck almost head on, McClellan said. In total, the chief said one car had three or four people in it at the time of impact.

Police were not available to comment on the crash as of press time.
