A heist in Bristol Township is being investigated by police.
It’s not as exciting as some of the daring heists portrayed on the silver screen, but police say someone busted through the wall of a business in the 5000 block of Route 13 between 1:50 a.m. and 7 a.m. last Tuesday with a sledgehammer. Inside the business, a safe was moved and cash not secured in the safe was taken, according to authorities.

Lt. Terry Hughes said suspect or suspects were unable to open to the safe door and, therefore, had to take cash that was unsecured. He did not release how much money was stolen.
The sledgehammer and recovered by police, Hughes said, adding that detectives were also able to gather physical evidence.
As of press times, the investigation is continuing.
