A man from western Pennsylvanian was sentenced to jail and probation after striking a plea deal for two incidents that took place in Bristol Township last year.
Marcus Meter, 19, of Somerset, Pa., plead guilty to a charge of firearms not to be carried without a license in one case. In another case, he plead guilty to possession of an instrument of crime with intent, terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct.

The 19-year-old will face a minimum of 11 months in jail for firearms not to be carried without a license and two years probation in the other case, according to court papers. Judge Albert Cepparulo sentenced Meter to mental health treatment if needed.
In one incident, Meter arrived a home on Foster Avenue and pulled a knife on a woman following an argument with her fiance.
Meter pulled a large knife with a black handle from his waist band and waved it in front of the man, court documents say. Police noted the couple said Meter was about five feet away from the man.

Police arrested Meter down the street and found the knife on top of a medicine cabinet on the second floor of a house, according to court papers.
Meter and another young man were arrested on August 17 by state police in Bristol Township on the firearms charge. He was out on bail in connection with the weapons charges at the time of the knife incident.
