
State police plan to file a DUI charge against a 64-year-old Feasterville man following an accident in Langhorne Borough on Saturday.
According to a news release, the 64-year-old man made an “unsafe” left turn from eastbound Maple Avenue onto National Avenue in his 2012 Jeep Laredo just before 4 p.m. A 21-year-old Philadelphia man driving westbound on Maple Avenue in 2001 Nissan Altima struck the Jeep, police said.

A trooper noted the 64-year-old Jeep driver “displayed signs of intoxication.” A field sobriety test was administered and the 64-year-old was transported to St. Mary Medical Center by in Middletown to get blood taken for testing, police said.
The Jeep remained driveable but suffered damage to the rear. The 21-year-old man’s Nissan sustained front-end damage and had to be towed from the crash site.
State police report the DUI charge is “pending.”
