It’s a new year in Falls Township and the governing body looks pretty similar to last year’s – barring a few changes.
Aside from new supervisor Jeff Boraski, the Board of Supervisors kept their solicitor, land development solicitor, engineering firm, labor counsel, traffic engineer and township manager.

Michael P. Clarke, the township’s solicitor, was rehired at rate of $170 and hour and $300 and hour for land development issues. Manager Peter Gray, who was worked for the township for 15 years in various positions, had his contract renewed for 2014.
Boraski was sworn in along with new township tax collector Kimberly Scarpiello and auditor John Ryba. Various committee appointments were also made.
Bob Harvie is again board chairperson, Jeff Dence is vice chairperson and Jeffrey Rocco was once again voted secretary.

The five-member board approved to keep its meetings the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Falls Township public meeting room.
A man who spoke during public comment asked the supervisors to work in 2014 to grow the tax base and offered several suggestions.
