A two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection last Thursday morning sent one driver to the hospital and left another facing a citation.

According to a press release, Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to Pine Street (Route 413) and Maple Avenue (Route 213) at 6:13 a.m. for reports of a crash involving a 2020 Jeep Compass and a 2003 Buick Century.
The Buick was stopped in the left-turn lane on Pine Street when the Jeep crossed into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and struck the stationary car. Both vehicles came to a stop in the center of the intersection, state police said.
The driver of the Buick, a 41-year-old Langhorne man, was taken to St. Mary Medical Center by the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad with injuries that were not life-threatening, state police said.

State police said they determined the driver of the Jeep, a 47-year-old Northampton Township woman, was at fault for the crash.
Troopers stated that she will be cited.
