The Levittown man accused of robbing a Lower Southampton bank branch and then fleeing to the south will face trial.
Keith Hawk, 44, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, waived charges of robbery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property to trial before District Judge John Waltman on Tuesday afternoon. The Levittown man was dressed in his mustard-yellow prison gear and donned a jacket as he sat before the judge.

Hawk is accused of walking into the TD Bank on Street Road in November and passing a demand note to a teller. The 44-year-old did not display a weapon and walked out with over $4,000 in cash, police said.
Hawk fled the bank toward Philadelphia and was arrested a few days later in Dinwiddle County, Va. Police said a Dinwiddle County deputy’s patrol car with a license plate reader picked up Hawk’s vehicle as he drove by.
Authorities extradited Hawk from Virgina to Pennsylvania last month and charged him in the bank robbery.

Hawk has several previous run-ins with police. He is currently awaiting trial on drug charges out of Bensalem. Court records show he is currently free on $10,000 unsecured bail.
The 44-year-old is currently in county jail unable to post bail.
