Original Story:

Downed wires between Levittown and Trenton have caused major trouble for anyone who takes SEPTA’s Trenton regional rail line.

SEPTA announced the train line was suspended around 7:20 a.m. No time for service restoration has been announced.

A spokeswoman for the regional transit agency said the suspension was caused when power lines owned by Amtrak fell.

The suspension of service came on one of the coldest days in decades with windchills well below zero.

No word if the downed power lines will impact Amtrak service in the busy northeast corridor. Service between Philadelphia and Wilmington was suspended Monday night due to similar issues.
