Bristol Township police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a frightening home invasion-style robbery that happened on Ivy Hill Road in Levittown Friday morning.
According to a police, officers were called at 8:47 a.m. to the house by a middle-aged man who said he was tied up and robbed.

The victim said he saw a person dressed in all black walking down the street near his house as he pulled up. As the victim exited his vehicle, the suspect quickly approached from behind and told him to get inside the house, police said. The victim said the suspect poked him in the side and he assumed there was a weapon pressed against him, according to a press release.
The victim’s ankles and wrists were bound together in the upstairs of the house as the suspect robbed the residence, police said.
The suspect left the house with two iPad 3s and an undetermined amount of cash, police said. Lt Terry Hughes told LevittownNow.com the victim was unharmed.

Police are looking for a man between 5-foot-seven and 5-foot-9. He wore a ski mask, trench coat, gloves, pants, footwear and a backpack – all of which was black.

“We’re asking for the public’s help. If they saw the suspect or a suspicious car, they can call Detective Callahan or the anonymous tipline,” Hughes said.
The home invasion comes less than a week after a gunpoint carjacking in Middletown’s Levittown section. No one has been arrested yet in that case.
