Residents told LevittownNow.com the smells started Sunday morning and became stronger as the morning went on. By lunchtime, several people said the smell had seeped into their home.
Smells from the Waste Management landfill and sewer treatment plants have been blamed for foul odors in the past, especially on damp days with low cloud cover.
As of 3:50 p.m., no more information on the smell is available.
