Dozens of families gathered at the Bristol Township Municipal Building for Christmas carols, ย hot chocolate, apple cider, and Santa riding on top of a Third District Fire Truck to the smiles and wondermentย of the townships children on Wednesday night.
Despite the cancellation due to weather conditions on Sunday, the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was enjoyed by the community as they danced to holiday tunes.

Officials from council, the zoning board, school board, and township administration engaged residents in light-hearted chatter and laughter.

Township children lined up to sit on Santa’s lap, played by Third District fireman Andrew Taggart, as parents clicked and snapped images destined for photo albums and social media posts everywhere.
It was Taggart’s first time playing the role of the dressed in red bearded one, he said.
