A pedestrian was struck by an SUV on Emilie Road just up the street from Bailey’s Bar & Grille in Bristol Township’s Levittown section Friday night.
Police at the scene said the man was transported to St. Mary Medical Center. Scanner reports indicate the victim is a male and was suffering from serious injuries.

A resident of the nearby Goldenridge section said she heard a thump a few minutes before 8 p.m. Minutes later, police flooded the area and closed the road.
A sneaker and hat worn by the victim sat in the roadway as traffic investigators surveyed the scene.
Police said the accident remains under investigation.
