Police in Yardley Borough are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a sexual assault that happened along the canal towpath.
According to information released by police, a woman was sexually assaulted in the area of the East Afton Avenue overpass on Sunday.

The victim and her attackers engaged in a physical fight during the assault, according to police.
The victim was taken to the hospital and has been released.
The two suspects believed to be connected to the attack were spotted in the Afton Avenue bridge area at the time of the assault, police said.

One of the suspect is described as a male with a light gray hoodie with the Pennsbury High School insignia displayed on it, police said. No description of the second suspect has been obtained by authorities.
The two suspects fled in an unknown direction.
