Bucks First & IU 22 Seeking Nominations for Bucks’ Best Educator

The search is on for Bucks Counties best educator!

Sponsored by the Bucks First Federal Credit Union and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit 22,ย nominations are being accepted now ย for the Bucks County Best Teacher of the Year Award for 2013-14, it was announced last week.

It’s the second year of the partnership that’s ย looking for that special teacher in the county who impacts students lives in the classroom.

Last yearโ€™s winner was Thomas Delaney from Harry S. Truman High School in Bristol Township.

The annual competition is open to Bucks County educators teaching kindergarten through grade twelve, according to a press release.

Grand Prize Winner: Named Bucks County Teacher of the Year, $1,000 prize (1)
Winning Teacherโ€™s School: $1,000 prize donation (1)
Runner Up: $200 Visa Gift Card of which two will be given.

The Bucks County Teacher of the year award was created to distinguish “educatorsย who show a superior commitment to teaching, ย and who are making a difference in their classrooms by going above and beyond for their students,” ย the release says.
