Schuler in Top 8 on ‘The Voice’

Matthew Schuler is among the front-runners on NBC’s “The Voice.”

The 20-year-old Pennsbury graduate was voted into the show’s Top 8 during Tuesday night’s live broadcast.

Schuler’s performance of  “Beneath Your Beautiful” by Labrinth struck a cord with many on Monday night’s show. The song performance was heralded on social media and in review of the episode.

Schuler dedicated the song to his future wife. (A note to the ladies – He’s still single. Just sayin’)

“This was no less than amazing, which is what you always are, dude,” Adam Levine told the beaming Lower Makefield residents and former Sesame Place employee during Monday’s episode.

Christina Aguilera, who has Schuler on her team, praised the local man’s performance.

Many of social media and entertainment sites are saying Schuler has a very good shot of winning the competition.

Schuler is next set to perform on the show Monday at 9 p.m.
