
The 14th annual Bristol Township Holiday Parade will be marching through Levittown this Saturday.
Scheduled to begin at noon, rain or shine, at James Buchanan Elementary School on Haines Road, the procession will continue onto Mill Creek Road and end at Benjamin Franklin Middle School. The route will be lined with thousands of happy families.

Santa and his helpers will be collecting letters from children along the route, officials said.
Members of the Bristol Township Council, school board, State Rep. Tina Davis, Bristol Township, Harry S. Truman Marching Band, police, fire and emergency responders, the Eagles Pep Band, antique cars, local sports teams, cheerleaders, dance teams and baton and fire twirlers. There been no word if some of the council members rode on horseback in the parade like last year.
American Idol contestant and Newtown resident Courtney Calle will perform at the parade.

The parade comes just days before the big Conwell-Egan and Harry S. Truman Thanksgiving Day Bowl. The game will be held at 10 a.m. on Nov. 28 at Truman’s Hank Johns Field at Henry C. Morgan Stadium.
