
A remembrance service for those impacted by Agent Orange almost didn’t happen because of a crime committed over the weekend.
The balloon release, playing of taps and guest speakers were almost called off after it was discovered Sunday that vandals, likely attempting to steal metal, cut the power to theย ย Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans building.ย PECOย and a local electrical contractor worked with the veterans to get the lights on in time for the ceremony,ย 6abc.com reported.

The Veterans Day evening event at theย Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans building onย Coates Avenue went off with out a hitch. About 200 veterans, boy scouts and others took part in the event.
As of press time, no arrests have been made in the case.
