Bowen Will Keep Seat on Council

The Pro Team of Bristol Township gained a seat last night on council with resounding wins by Republican Craig Bowen and Democrats Bob Lewis and Cindy Murphy.

Bowen, after winning ย re-election, said, “It was a lot of work, the people of Bristol have spoken and now on to continuing the work that’s needed.”

Murphy, who totaled just under 4000 votes, said through social media Wednesday morning: “My sincerest thanks to my family, each and every poll worker, my supporters, and of course, the voters. I’m excited that I will be working with a dedicated council team whose motivation is simply tax payer services and paving the way to a better Bristol Township.”

Joining the trio is former Bristol Twp. Mayorย John P. Monahan on council. He will be replacing ย Councilman Tony Tucker, who lost in Tuesday’s election.

Bowen added he was grateful to the people of Bristol for coming out and giving the Pro Team a mandate by voting last in the election.
