Throughout the Levittown area officials said voter turnout was “steady” for a municipal election.
Bristol Borough

The North Ward had a turnout that was “better than the primary,” Judge of Elections Bridget Callahan said. Groups of people were observed coming and going from the polling place.
As of 6 p.m., the West Ward had about 450 votes cast, which is lower than usual for that polling place, an official told LevittownNow.com.
In the South Ward, voters came throughout the day and evening.

Bristol Township
At James Buchanan Elementary School, just under 200 people had voted in precinct 7-1. An election official said the polling place has 1,237 registered voters.

Steady turnout was also reported at George Washington Elementary School and at Maple Shade Elementary School in Croydon. Washington also housed an extra voting district this year after an arson fire at Magic Cottage made it impossible to vote there.
Outside the polling place at the municipal complex, an official said there was a “steady” turnout at the location’s two voting precincts.
Councilman Craig Bowen, a Democrat running as a Republican after he was not voted through as a Democrat during the primary, said he was “anxious” about the outcome of the election.

Councilman Troy Tucker told LevittownNow.com he didn’t really campaign much this election cycle due to his battle with stomach cancer.
Falls

Turnout at Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School, which houses three different precincts, appeared to be a bit heavier than during the primary. Falls 1-3, 1-5 and 1-5 were reporting a turnout between 12 and 20 percent as of 6 p.m.
Voters coming in and out of Penn Valley Elementary School appeared to be consistent just after dinner time.

Langhorne
Election officials in the borough said turnout was a bit higher than they expected it. A mayors race and a write-in council candidate were attributed to the rise in interest.

Middletown
The two precincts at Neshaminy High School were busy around dinner time. Two election officials at the school said turnout was running at around 20 percent as of 5:30 p.m.
Turnout at Oliver Heckman Elementary School was “rather regular for this type of election,” one neighbor said. Several people were spotted coming and going from the polling place over a several-minute period.

“Expected” turnout was reported at Carl Sandburg Middle School, a source said at around 7 p.m.
Tullytown

As of 7 p.m., 373 out of roughly 1,600 registered voters had turned out in the borough. Outside, incumbent Mayor David Cutchineal spoke with a group of people.
