Police are investigating to see whether a man arrested following an armed robbery Wednesday night is connected to a string of drug store robberies in Lower Makefield and Falls in recent weeks.
Roland Woodward IV, 36, of Langhorne, will be charged this morning with illegal possession of a firearm, resisting arrest and possession of an instrument of crime, Falls Township police said. As of 8:14 a.m., he has not yet been arraigned.

Officers responded to responded to the Country Farms Market on Makefield Road at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night and were able to arrest Woodward after a short foot pursuit, police said.
Crackdown on Crime Starts with Operation Take Back
When he was taken into custody in the 100 block of Winding Way, police found money stolen from the store, a bandana used to cover his face during the robbery and a loaded .32 caliber handgun.

Detectives were still interviewing Woodward as of early this morning.
“There may be more arrests involving this incident at a later date,” Lt Hank Ward told LevittownNow.com.
