It’s been nearly a week since a 13-year-old girl reported that a man tried to snatch her from outside the W section of the Pennwood Crossing Mobile Home Community, and police say they are still looking for witnesses.
Lt. Hank Ward said investigators are still investigating the reported attempt and are looking for anyone who may have seen anything strange last Wednesday at around 4:20 p.m. in the area. A sketch was released to the media Sunday morning and has been published online, in print and aired on local television.

The attempt does not appear to be linked to recent ones in Morrisville or Philadephia, Ward added.
According to police, the suspect approached the girl, who was walking alone on Bristol Pike and called for the girl to come over to him. The girl didn’t follow his command and he got out of the truck and started walking toward the girl. A good Samaritan, who was driving past, stopped and was able to block the man and let the girl run away, police said.
The suspect is described by police as a bi-racial male between 40- to 50-years-old, five-foot-eleven to six-foot-tall, short hair that is mostly white and light scruffy facial hair. Police described his face as “chubby.”

Officials said he was driving a “shiny” light tan, full-sized pickup truck with four doors and an open bed in the back.
