Get out your best bear costume and dress like the black bear that roamed Lower Bucks County earlier this year. From the branches of a tree in Croydon to the banks of the Neshaminy Creek, the Hulmeville Bear is a sure crowd pleaser this Halloween.
2. William Levitt
For this historic look, you’ll need to find your grandfather’s finest bow tie. Levitt was the mastermind behind Levittown and several similar post-war communities.
3. Truman Tiger

There’s several local school mascots, but the Truman Tiger gained a lot of attention after the high school’s Katy Perry cover video went viral. Aside from the awesome performances in the video by the kids, the Tiger came close to stealing the show.
4. H.H. Dowbot
How about being a several-foot-tall robot that sings, rolls around and can high-five people? Yeah, pretty neat. After Dowbot’s visit to Bristol Township on Friday, are you getting any ideas.
5. Matthew Schuler

The stylish 20-year-old Pennsbury graduate stormed onto NBC’s “The Voice” and stole the spotlight. Get your nicest button up shirt, denim jeans and a microphone for this costume.
6. Midnight Mary
For years, the Midnight Mary story has circulated through Levittown. In short: a young girl and her prom date crashed in the first part of 20th Century; they both died. Rumors that a ghostly teenage girl dressed in pink has been spotted along Bordentown Road near the Tullytown border and on the nearby lakes has spread. After reading accounts from Weird US and Yahoo, maybe you can come up with some ideas for this costume.
