A young man was arrested over the weekend following a high-speed police chase on I-95 in Lower Bucks County.
Christopher Berry, 19, of Aldan, was charged Friday with fleeing to elude an officer, two counts of simple assault and at least a dozen other offenses. He was arraigned be District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr. and sent to Bucks County jail on 10 percent of $100,000 bail. On Monday, according to court records, a warrant for additional charges was filed by state police.

According to state police, Berry, driving a 2012 Toyota Corolla tried to elude troopers and was recorded traveling at over 100 MPH just before 6 p.m. The chase finally ended when the Toyota slammed into the back of another vehicle on I-95 in Bensalem Township.
Following the crash, state troopers found a black BB gun inside the Toyota. The investigating trooper said in an accident report that the BB gun matched the description given during a road rage September 29 incident on I-95 in Bensalem. In that case, the witness feared the gun pointed at them was a real semi-automatic handgun.
It is unclear why troopers started chasing Berry on Friday. A press release says investigators knew Berry was behind the September 29 incident.
