Sunday’s Lower Bucks HeartChase in Bristol Borough was a smashing success many said. With about $14,000 raised and dozens of participants, the spirit of the event shined on, basking in a beautiful day.
Bristol Lions Park was filled with commercial supporters, ย teams and onlookers wondering why that women was “dressed up as a grape.”

Betinna Mcclure said Sunday she was “thrilled” by the turnout as several teams joined up last-minute for the fundraiser educational – get healthy event.

Dr Charlie Flood, one of the many organizers and sponsors of HeartChase, ย proudly said, “I couldn’t be happier with how Sunday turned out! To be part of the leadership committee for HeartChase when it was just an idea back in April and now to see this culminate as an event that included over 100 participants, 20 different teams with everyone looking like they had a great time and raising almost $14,000 for the American Heart Association”
“The Villa Joseph Marie JEMS ย had an incredibly fun time at the HeartChase sharing their enthusiasm and energy for an excellent cause. They run but their generosity never fades,” Cate Murway said about the members of ย the high school track team she coaches participating.

With the success, community support and the number of business’s and organizations involved it looks like HeatChase has a found a home in Bristol Borough and will hopefully become part of regularly rotated events organizers said.
