Court papers make Randy Fernandez look like a pretty bad house guest.
Fernandez, 24, of Philadelphia, is accused of stealing an iPhone 5 from the friend who let him stay in his apartment for nearly a month, according to police.

The resident of the apartment told police he let Fernandez stay in his Marion Avenue apartment but kicked him out after a disagreement, court records say. The man reportedly asked Fernandez to have all of his belongings out of the apartment by the time he returned home from dropping his fiance off at work.
By the time the resident returned home, he noticed Fednandez was gone and left some of his belongings behind, police said. He also, according to court papers, discovered his bedroom door was forcibly opened. Inside, the man found his iPhone 5 and several other items missing, police said.
The victim was able to show investigators his receipt of the phone, which cost $669.

Officer Timothy Filoon was able to confirm through LeadsOnline.com, an online investigation system that tracks business transactions, that the black iPhone 5 that belonged to the apartment owner was pawned for $150 by Fernandez at a shop in Philadelphia.
While the alleged theft happened in July, court papers do not make it clear why the charges were filed in late September.
