The fun-filled day will include an invitation for children to “paint the town” with sidewalk chalk creations. A dress-up parade on Maple Avenue and scavenger hunt will also be available for kids, according to organizers.

“Children can even don a princess crown, a tutu, a silly mustache or pirate patch from their own toy collection at home,” Rachel Fullan, owner of The Little Old House of Make Believe in the borough, said. She added that homemade dress-up items are encouraged.

Aside from plenty of activities for kids, borough restaurants and eateries are preparing to feed those who come to the event. Local crafters will be setting up at the seasonal festival. Music from local rock and jazz groups will be performed for the audiences.

“It’s fantastic to be a part of a community that provides entertainment throughout the year for families and children to come to and make wonderful memories,” Langhorne Borough Business Association Secretary Kari Thomas said. “We think that there will be plenty of fun for both grown ups and kids.”

The event is rain or shine.
