
They call it “Ten House” and on October 11 you’ll have to eat more wings than that to win the Edgely Firehouse third annual wings eating contest.
Defending champ Kenny Bruck has been daring eaters in the area to take him on according to posts on the firehouse’s Facebook page.

Edgley Chief Carl Pierce is hoping other contestants join in for the eating extravaganza so Bruck can be challenged.
Contestants will receive their own 2013 wings contest t-shirt as part of participating in the firehouse’s eatathon.
The contest consists of ย one 12 minute round to see who can eat the most wings. In the case of a tie, there will be one extra ย five -minute round.

Contestants with the most wings consumed at the end of tie breaker round will be crowned winner!

Part of the fire prevention week activities, the wing eating contest is quickly becoming a ย highlight of sorts kicking off a day where 10 house fire fighters will spend the day in ย the community speaking at local schools about fire prevention.
