Famed bluesman Guy Davis will be taking part in a five-day residence in the Pennsbury School District later this month.

Over the course of his five-day visit, nearly 8,000 district students will get a chance to watch and listen to Davis perform. According to the district’s website, Davis will educate students on the history of blues music. Over the course of his residency, Davis will take part in 11 school assemblies, which will finish with a concert for the community on Friday, Oct. 4.
