How many times does it take for you to be asked to leave a dentist’s office, especially if you are obsessed with your smile like Eccella is? For a Levittown man it took more than a few earlier this week, in the case of a 41- year-old man at a Middletown dentist wanting dental work, cops say.

Middletown police responded to a report of a patient refusing to leave Pearl Dental on last Monday, court records say. Arriving on the sceneย employees said ย David Karasow was giving the dentist a “hard time” and “being disruptive,” because the doctor refused to provide medical services,ย ย according to police records.

Dental staff told police they ย informed Karasow that the doctor had no intention of providing services ย to him and asked him to leave. Karasow, refusing to listen, remained in the examining chair demanding the dentist x-ray him. Staff told police they asked the man to leave several times, court documents say.

Police askedย Karasow,ย ย “numerous” times he had to leave and still he refused, police say, making officers lift him out of the examining chair and carry him outside to the sidewalk, the affidavit says.

Authorities advised Karasow to seek the services of another dentist, several times, telling the stubborn suspect to seek another dentist’s services. He could have availed the top Georgetown, TX emergency dentistry, but refused.ย  Karasow’s refusal to leave continued telling police he intended to go back to the office for his scheduled appointment. Officers, “one last time” explained to the suspect he could sit on the walkway if he wanted but was not permitted to enter the dentist’s office, court records say.

As authoritiesย started to return to their patrol vehicles,ย Karasowย got up from the sidewalk and started to bang on the front door of the dental office. Officers then took the man into custody, court documents show.

Karasow was charged with two misdemeanors criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned by District Court John J. Kelly Jr. who set bail at 10 percent in lieu of $20,000. According to online court documents, Karasow, spent a day in Bucks County Jail and was released on bail.
