An engaged boyfriend and girlfriend told police Meter arrived at a home on Foster Avenue and pulled a knife on the fiance shortly before 6 p.m.

According to the couple, Meter came to the woman’s house and asked her boyfriend for his brother. An argument broke out between the two men and the couple alleged that Meter pulled a large knife with a black handle from his waist band and waved it in front of the man, court documents say. Police wrote in the documents that the couple said Meter was about five feet away from the man.

Bristol Township police were called and took down a report and witness description. By the time they arrived, the 19-year-old had fled.

Meter was found a short time later down the street. He told police he pulled the knife in self defense, according to court papers.

The knife was found on top of a medicine cabinet upstairs, police said.
