State Rep. Tina Davis (D) will be holding her own version of a House Bill 76 forum for the public in September, just with one added difference. Both sides of the issue will be represented, Davis’ Chief of Staff Bryan Allen shared with LevittowNow.
“What we’re looking for is a calm discourse not a heated debate on the issues surrounding the Property Tax Independence Act,” Allen said.

Davis, who is on the record with supporting measure that would erase the current system of funding schools, has said she supports the concept but see’s challenges for the bill in its current form.
Mark B. Miller, an elected school director in Centennial School District, Co-Chair of Keystone State Education Coalition and Vice President of Pennsylvania School Boards Association, will attend. Miller has been recognized as local leader standing up to protect public education again and again.
The second participant in the forum is David Baldinger, spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Coalition of Taxpayer Associations (PCTA) and Coordinator of the Pennsylvania Taxpayers Cyber Coalition (PTCC).
