A middle-aged woman reported to be suffering from mental health issues blocked traffic on the Middletown side of New Falls Road across from the Acme Saturday evening.

Cars on New Falls Road were disrupted for several minutes as the woman blocked traffic. At one point, she laid down in the roadway.

LevittownNow.com readers reported that police were able to cover the woman with a blanket.
“She didn’t want help. She seemed fine not drunk or anything When we asked if we could call someone for her, she said a priest. It’s a shame there is something mentally wrong with this lady,” witness Shawn Hogan wrote on Facebook.
Bristol Township police officers, who were first on the scene, were able to capture the woman and she was taken by ambulance to Lower Bucks Hospital.
