Rescue Squad Holding Fundraiser to Buy CPR Device

The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad will be holding a fundraiser to purchase some life-saving equipment on Friday, September 13.

The fundraiser will take place starting at 8:30 p.m. at Bailey’s Bar & Grill in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

Proceeds from the evening will go toward the rescue squad’s purchase of a Lucas 2 automated CPR device. The Lucus 2 made international headlines this week after an Australian woman, who was clinically dead for 40 minutes, was resuscitated using a Lucus 2 device.

Aside from tasty beverages, the fundraiser will feature live music, a Chinese auction and more, organizers say. A $3 entrance fee goes toward the rescue squad.
