Drivers using Woodbourne Road and commuters on SEPTA’s West Trenton Line have faced problems due to downed wires at the Woodbourne Train Station in Middletown.
While Woodbourne Road reopened by Monday morning, SEPTA continued to see issues on the line are wires came down and forced emergency crews to respond not too long before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Passengers at the train station Monday morning were asked to board all trains on the outbound platforms, as SEPTA used a single track operation.
At one point Sunday evening, SEPTA suspended service north of the Neshaminy Falls station in Bensalem due to the wires issues and used shuttle buses. Later, the line was delayed by about 20 minutes.
Reports have also indicated that the problem has caused delays to freight train service.
