According to court papers, the 18-year-old also admitted to a spree of thefts from vehicles that evening. He also told fire investigators that he had been involved in two other unsolved arson fires in Bristol Township.

In the fire, Reilly suffered second-degree burns to his face and both hands. He walked himself to Lower Bucks Hospital down the street, police said. That is how authorities narrowed him down as the suspect in their investigation.

At the time of his arrest, the teen admitted to stealing the $30,000 white Ford work truck from Merlin and Harrison streets. He also confessed to dumped gasoline all over the seats of the truck and sparking the fire with a cigarette lighter, police said.
