A limited adult mosquito control spray will take place Friday in Bristol Township’s Edgely section.
The county said the following streets will be sprayed: Woodside Ave., Headley Ave., Headley Ct., Curtis Ave., Dogwood Dr., Disk Ln., Daffodil Ln., Dahlia Ln., Deep Green Ln., Dark Leaf Ln., Dewberry Ln., Dogwood Way, Daisy Ln. and Norman Ave.

The spraying will be begin at dusk. A rain date of August 12 has been set.
The chemical Duet will be sprayed using an ultra low volume truck mounted sprayer at a rate of .75 to one ounce per acre. The two trucks to be used during the operation will be a green Chevrolet truck with the County of Bucks seal on the side, as well as a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck also with the county seal visible.
Over the past several weeks, several mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus has been found in the Levittown area.
