Morrisville resident Jessica Drago was spending the evening at her boyfriend’s apartment in the Langhorne section of Middletown Township early Saturday morning when an argument with her guy led to her arrest.
Middletown Township Police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance in progress on the 700 block of Ford Avenue, court records say.

Police, upon arrival, observed Drago sitting on the front stoop. When they approached her to investigate the alleged altercation, Drago told officers on the scene her boyfriend had “gripped her up” by her neck and forearm, causing bruising to her neck and bleeding from her nose and hand, the affidavit said.
None of the cuts or bruising, Drago alleged was present except for a small surface wound to her left pinky which police reported was consistent with a wound from the defendant punching something.
Drago, as police attempted to continue questioning her, invoked her right to counsel and refused to answer more questions, court documents said.

Police then spoke with Drago’s boyfriend telling them a verbal argument between the two took place that lead the defendant to become increasingly confrontational. She said she got “directly in his face,” and then struck him in. A resident of the complex got between the two stopping any further incident, police said.
The victim, according to police had a swollen left eye and an open bleeding cut on his lower lip that invariable was the result of the victim being “punched in the mouth.” police said.
