The second alleged assailant in an armed robbery that resulted in shots fired was taken into custody over the weekend.
Rasheem Wilford, 19, of Marie Lowe Drive, is charged with robbery, theft, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of simple assault.

Wilford and Quincy Palmer, 21, also of Marie Lowe Drive, are accused of robbing a man and woman in the 1500 block of Venice Avenue on a predawn morning in early July.
Wilford and Palmer threatened to kill the two if they did not take them to the Venice Avenue home, police said. The woman, according to court documents, said there were other people inside the house and pleaded for the suspects not to harm them.
Palmer held a gun to the woman’s head as he demanded her purse, which contained keys, identification and money, police said.

Her friend was held by rifle-point by Wilford, who took the man’s iPhone after he punched him in the head, police said. They added that Wilford fired a warning shot into the ground near the man.

The woman said Wilford and Palmer ran away after they became anxious following the fired rifle shot and may have ran away on Ashby Avenue, police said. The woman told police she heard a car door slam shortly after.
The two also told police Palmer fired off a round at the couple while fleeing, according to court papers.
Both victims were unharmed by the gun fire.

The woman said after the robbery that she recognized the suspects from her neighborhood but did not know their names.
Two days after the armed robbery, the victim told a detective she saw both suspects in the Venice Ashby area the previous night, according to an affidavit.

Investigators put together a photo line up and the woman said Wilford was the man with the rifle, police said.
Police recovered the stolen iPhone at a pawn kiosk located at the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia. Officials spoke with the couple that pawned the phone; they said the phone was found on Winder Drive in Bristol Township, according to court documents. Police noted in court papers that Palmer lives on Winder Driver.

Investigators recovered a .22 shell casing from the parking lot where the shots were fired.
Both Wilford and Palmer are in county jail unable to post bail.
