Technical issues at the hosting company that LevittownNow.com uses caused havoc for readers and site staff Friday.
Starting at approximately 8 a.m., the site went down following scheduled overnight maintenance by hosting company BlueHost. The site came back online about an hour later. Similar issues began to hit the site at around noon. By 2:20 p.m., the site was running regularly.

“We are working hard to fix the issues. Customer sites are coming back online.” BlueHost said in a tweet to Publisher/Editor Tom Sofield, just before 11 a.m.
“All 125 of my customers sites & email down. I am following bluehost twitter feed. Hopefully it will be back up soon,” local business person Shayne Taylor wrote on LevittownNow.com’s Facebook update about the problems.
An Fudzilla.com article reported that “thousands of clients complaining about lost revenue.”
The company has released the cause of the issues that have caused problems for websites around the globe.
