A fight involving four members of one family has led to three being charged with simple and aggravated assault. The incident also left a man bloodied and bruised Bristol Borough, police say.
Police were called to the 400 block of Cedar Street after being flagged down by the victim of the attack, who told arriving officers he had been assaulted by his two nephews and niece, causing a head and facial wounds, court documents say.

The uncle was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital for head trauma treatment and released, according to police records.

The victim identified Christopher Davene, 19, of Bensalem; Alan Devane, 22, of Bensalem and Janine Davane, 18, of Bristol, as his attackers, according to court documents

The oldest of the three, Alan told police the attack stemmed from a unreported assault by his uncle on his mother on July 4 where he was awakened to the fight involving his younger siblings and his uncle, police records say.

Each of the defendants was charged with aggravated and simple assault and arraigned by District Court Judge Frank W. Peranteau, Sr.
All three were sent to Bucks County Jail and are scheduled for preliminary hearings on August 28.
