Meanwhile the suspect, who recently served time in state prison on a manslaughter charge, among an array of other criminal offenses, attacked his girlfriend again on June 27 when he showed up at her father’s house drunk and proceeded to assault the victim by pulling her hair, choking her with his forearm and then cutting her with knife on her forearm, police say.

McCoy, who showed up demanding money the victim said she owed him, refused to leave even locking the women out of her fathers Main St home in Tullytown ย at one point and then subsequently attacking her, according to court records.

McCoy eluded arrest after each attack ย by fleeing the area, police records say.

According to police sources, a routine home visit by a Bucks County Probation Officer, who became aware there were two warrants out for the suspect, led to his arrest.

Online court documents say McCoy pleaded guilty to an ย involuntary manslaughter charge in ย 2006 and related offenses and was now serving two years of probation for those offenses.

When speaking to the victim, police found raw injuries on the woman. A red marking on her which appeared to be from a knife, red markings on her neck and scratch marks on her neck too. ย The woman told police McCoy put his arm on her neck area “so she couldn’t breathe ” the probable cause affidavit says.

McCoy was arraigned Monday evening ย in front of Bensalem District Judge Leonard Brown on simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment, and related charges ย from both incidents. He was sent to Bucks County prison in lieu of 10 percent of a combined $51,000 in bail on both cases.
