A 19-year-old resident at Bucks County Youth Services on Bellevue Avenue in Penndel Borough was arrested Wednesday on charges he was involved on a roommate.

Police said in an affidavit of probable cause that James Easterling and a juvenile facility resident attacked a fellow housemate Sunday at around 5 p.m.

Easterling and the juvenile suspect were captured on video by a cell phone hitting the victim’s head and torso about 10 times, police said. The video was published to the internet following the attack.

The video, according to court papers filed by Penndel police Chief Joseph Sciscio, shows the victim trying to fend off his attackers.

The attack caused abrasions, swelling and bruising to the face on the juvenile that was attacked, police said.
