A state official recently said that Penndel Borough can not keep three ball fields at Memorial Park as part of a state-funded project to redo the recreation space in town, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.
The 4.5 acre park is a staple in the borough and has been tangled in questions on whether the state will back out of a $125,000 state grant issued, according to the article.
