Firefighters responded to a dryer fire on Woolston Drive in Falls Township late Friday morning.
Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said no one was injured and the damage was minor.

The fire was caused by lint and contained to the dryer unit, which was destroyed, he said.
Dippolito added that the family cleaned the dryer’s link trap every time they used the machine, but he believes the lint came from a backup in the often neglected vent.
The fire marshal said their was some confusion as the dispatch initially called crews to Wilson Drive in Fairless Hills.
