Approximately 27 minutes ago, at 5:24 p.m., on there Facebook page Jo-Jo’s pronounced “we are up and running PECO fixed the line.”

Now the popular cool off stop can back to doing what they do best.

Debbie Kalbach thanked the community for its huge response when she called for help on Facebook, notable responders “Duane,”ย  “Doran”and Hammertime Construction.

PECO Spokesperson Liz Williamson, said moments ago “around 3 p.m a tractor-trailer in the area of 8800 block of New Falls Road had accident and downed power lines. 23 customers have been effected by the outage, she said.

Crews are on site making permanent repairs they should be completed within a few hours, she said.

Falls Township Police and PECO crews arrived on scene a short while ago.

At approximately 4 p.m. a white tractor-trailer has taken down the power lines Amelia Drive, Levittown section of Falls Township.

Jo-Jo’s Ice Cream posted a message on their Facebook page asking for help from the community at large because the popular ice cream shop has lost power.

A large generator is needed in order to put the store back on-line, or “‘i’ll ย lose everything.”
