An accident tied up traffic Thursday evening near the Giant on New Falls Road in Middletown Township.

LevittownNow.com reader Kristen Goetter Volpe posted the following message on Facebook at 5:30 p.m.:

 Witnessed a bad accident near Giant and Kings Caterers. Traffic is really bad. 2 people injured.

A county dispatcher confirmed the accident and said it was being handled by Middletown police.

As of 8 p.m., police released no further information on the accident.
